Vettaikaran Release on Pongal ?

Ilayapathi Vijay’s ‘Vettaikaran’ which is a much hyped movie for Vijay fans will be re-shot and released in January. Babu Sivan who is debuting as a director with this film and is said to re-shoot some vital scenes for this movie and the filming is said to be done in November last week.

Recently, the movie was previewed to the sun pictures distributors who expressed their dissatisfaction on the movie output. KURUVI and VILLU which were Vijay’s last releases disappointed his fans to major extent. So, the producers and the distributors are taking vital care in making “Vettaikaran” a major success. .

So, on their inputs, Babu Sivan has planned for a film schedule for this movie and will re-shoot some action as well as romantic scenes on Vijay and Telugu dam shell Anushka. Vijay Antony has composed the music for this film and the tunes are said to be catchy. But unfortunately, Vijay is busy with his 50^th film SURA with Tamannah and so the sudden demand of a film schedule from Babu Sivan has caught him in a ‘Fix’ situation.

But the re-shooting is going to take place for sure and the movie may release in the month of January unlike its earlier said date i.e. December 25^th.
